Theme: Monsters Dream
Here is how the story…
A boy, about the age of 7, loves animal especially animals in the sea. He always dreamt of having monster pets in real life to play with it but it was impossible to meet monsters in the real world. One day when he was sleeping, he falls into a dark passage and reach a different world whereby himself was also turned into a monster and there were monsters playing happily in the distance. He felt excited and happy until he didn’t realize there’s a big and ugly monster is coming towards him. He was shocked and scared when he saw the ugly monster coming. Suddenly, he woke up from his sleep and feels relief that it was just a dream. In this piece, it will be about how he was in a dream and went through all the situations while he was dreaming.
I chose Jerico Santander because his designs attract me in the way of transforming an interior of a machine to a brand new fantasy world. It was really awesome. As I’m creating art pieces that inspired by Jerico Santander work, I would chose David Guetta as the sound artist. Although Jerico Santander matches his art piece with a softer sound but I would like to chose a beats music so that it have different feeling with Jerico Santander’s.
For sound, I continue to analyse about the artist’s songs, Titanium, Play Hard, I Can Only Imagine and etc. I’ve discovered that David Guetta’s songs suit my art pieces because the beats and background music able to transform a new environment with fantasy feel.

David Guetta is a global talented electronic music DJ/producer no matter in House, Dynamic House, Techno or Trance. He has been voted as world’s No.1 DJ in the world by DJ Mag that making excellent connection from Europe to America with his production. Most of his productions are pop songs for dance. Therefore, obviously David Guetta is a pop style sound artist who produces dance songs. He is also a creative DJ who remixes plenty of songs that combines with global artists.

Most of the time, he inspires his sound by the first source of inspiration when he is a DJ and when he sees people’s response on new sounds that he played. After all, I’m sure that people wants to know what he used to produce all this. By this tools, it creates a crowd of 50,000 to make noise with his vocals. What an amazing situation.

After researching for sound artist (probably few days), I’ve decided to choose Pop style songs by David Guetta.
Who is David Guetta?
This is David Guetta from Paris , France. Currently, he is 46 years old and his birthday falls on November 7, 1967 (Scorpio). He was born and raised in Paris into a Moroccan Sephardi Jewish family. His father was a restaurateur and he began to mix his first vinyls at home in the age of 13 and starts to organise parties in his basement in 14. He is one of the most praised producers on the planet who took electronic music out of the confines of the global underground and reigns as the No. 1 House DJ. He become known for coproduce with artists like Kelly Rowland, Akon and Kid Cudi.
David Guetta started his career at the age of 17. He was influenced by the hiphop DJs he heard on France’s Radio 7 station and playing house music on Paris’s Radio Nova from 1988 to 1990. Later, he was influential in the rise of house music and acid house in Paris and started to play in night clubs. Currently, he is a producer and makes the music that rocks the coolest clubs and yet sits proudly on pop radio and MTV. He is brave enough to being an underground DJ and having huge crossover success. Technically, Guetta is one of the most impressive DJs in the house scene. Most of his products are remixing records live, making loops, slam tracks together that no one ever expect while uses vocals over other instrumentals. As he said,

Who is Jerico Santander? What do you know about him?
Jerico Santander born in Las Palmas, Gran Caneria in 1985.He is a photo illustrator based artist whereby his works includes 3D, illustration, drawing and much more. He started work for a small companies as a web designer and an illustrator in Madrid. Recently, he is a freelance art director in Canary Islands, Spain. His work has contributed with article sand artworks for some of digital art and design magazine. Jericho’s keystone that sustain his composition are color, balance and doses of surrealism. He explore his own vision of art by photography, 3D graphic and digital paintings.
What motivated him?
Jerico starts his art direction since primary school and started designing website layouts. He tries to mesh up with Photoshop in more artistic way after found out the legendary Infinity Digital Vision catalogue from masters(Mike Young or Jens Karlsson). His favourite traditional artist are Mars-1 and Josh Keyes while digital artist are Aex Trochut and Microbot.
